Ballyvaughan-Fanore 0:15 Kilmurry Ibrickane 2:09

A decent start to an important season with the Junior A final to be played in the coming weeks.

Played in perfect conditions and on pitch with a great surface.

Both teams acquitted themselves well in tempo, physicality and football skills for such an early season encounter.

Ballyvaughan scored some beautiful individual and team points. Goals kept Kilmurry Ibrickane in the game, their second looked like being the pivotal score, but Ballyvaughan picked off the last few scores to snatch a draw.

Their keeper pulling off a final second save to prevent us from picking up victory.

Loads of positives to take from the game, especially seeing the debuts of Sean Casserly and Ian Woods at adult football.
