Ballyvaughan had 2 points to spare over Lissycasey in the O'Gorman Cup game played in Ballyvaughan on Saturday evening. Lissycasey played with the difficult wind in the first half but found it hard to breakdown a stubborn Ballyvaughan defence. Lissycasey led 2 points to 1 at the break. The second half was keenly contested with Ballyvaughan scoring a good goal soccer style from Phelim Kyne after a short kick-out went wrong. Lissycasey piled on the pressure but could not breach the resolute Ballyvaughan defence. Ballyvaughan then closed out the game with points from Cian Walsh and Kevin Carrucan. .
