Ballyvaughan and St Joseph's Doora-Barefield played out an exciting draw in the Division 3 League Semi-final played in Ennistymon on Sunday morning.
 
Ballyvaughan had the better of things in the first half and led by 1:3 to 0:3 at the break.  The goal came from a penalty by James Hynes after good work from Tomas Francis.  Ballyvaughan also had good points from Mark O'Loughlin and 2 points from John Martyn.  St Josephs points came from Enda Lyons and Colm Mullen.
 
Conditions deteriorated in the second half with a constant down pour throughout. St Josephs battled back into the game and drew level with 5minutes to go.  They were well on top at this stage and had a chance to win it but some great defending from Ballyvaughan stopped them scoring.

Damien McNamara made an important one handed diving save just as he saved a penalty in the 2008 game in Roslevan, to keep Ballyvaughan's hopes alive of reaching the final.
 
St Josephs had good performances from Kevin Dilleen, Colm Mullen and Enda Lyons and Mark Hallinan. Ballyvaughan's best were Damien McNamara, Kevin Carrucan and Setanta Moran.
